No matter how hard you throw him,
Bones is going to bounce.

Bones is just super resilient,
and way elastic.

Bones doesn’t have a plastic bone
in his skinny body.

Bones will bend,
but he snaps right back,
just like the finest piece
of spring steel.

He picked that up
from Mom.

Bobby

Just heard a discussion about resilience among psychologists today. Your poem would have fit perfectly into their reflections.
This describes Bones' qualities with great imagery.

Thanks dear Margherita,

Thanks for reading, and your interesting comment.

I hope Bones came out smelling like a rose in their interesting discussion.

In inspirational work Bobby, and a man to aspire to.

I wish I was as strong as Bones, I've been broken several times.

Never sigh for a better world, it's already composed, played and told.

Yo Suncleaver,

Bones has been broken so many times he's lost count.  That's what life's about for most all of us.

No matter how many ways he bounces, in the end, Bones will bounce "up" and he and mom inpires us all!

Bobby - Bones being resilent is a good thing, and to bounce back tells me he is a fighter when down...

Bones is adaptable to all of his situations.
He's very good at survival.....I admire him for that.

Thanks Art,

I'm glad you liked the poem.  Yes, the last bounce is always on the up side.  There is no such thing as a negative bounce.

Thanks Eric,

For the kind words on Bones.

Survival has always been Bones main interest.  He's never given up, or even played dead.

Always on the bright side--it's good for business.
