Right in the middle of my busy life;
I need to take a moment and talk about my wife;
She keeps me in clothes, She keeps me fed;
She keeps me warm when I am in bed;
I know that this statement might seem quite bold;
But without her I would be hungry, naked and cold;
I wouldn’t know where anything was, the bills would be late;
But even worst that all of this, would be my fate;

The sun would not shine, the flowers would not grow;
The world would ice over and it would start to snow;
Music would not play, bells would not ring;
The sun would not shine, the birds would not sing;
Stars would disappear right out of the sky;
The oceans would dry up and my puppies would die;
I wouldn’t have any cloths, not even a sock;
I would lose my keys and all doors would be locked;
I wouldn’t have anyone to tell when I felt happy or sad;
The atmosphere would go away and all air would be bad;
I would never play any games, because I could not win;
I would be in the dark, because the world would not spin;
If I drove anywhere, I would get in a wreck;
If I walked anywhere, I would trip and break my neck;
Tv’s would run commercials that would never end;
The internet would go down and email would never send;
My hearing would stop working and I would loose my sight;
At least one thing would be the same, I still never would be right;

That’s why I am taking a moment and I would like  to say;
I love you very much and Happy Valentines Day……

Dear Martin, it seems that you are one of those rare men nowadays who totally rely on their wives to breathe and to be.

Will she at least say you were right in assuming it would please her to receive your gratitude and love through this lovely poem?

Love and happy Valentine's Day!

Margherita
