we talk sometimes about those other days when your king was also your knight you sipped wine by shore lined windows and it was endless love without winter today I will whisper southward there and look in the rain eyed sky for your eyes to watch you dancing with him again and to taste of your teardrop jewelry I will be alone like you are sometimes watching myself wanting to watch you when you were fragile in your love slowly and your lovely was another man's diamond and maybe we would sit back to back beside each other's wanting windows touching fingers to the other's hands just to be sure we were really dreaming if only you would ask to keep me company ________________ daark (forbidden) |
