Mom’s new man
is a disciplinarian.

Talk about weird,
Mom teamed up with
a disciplinarian.

He decides right away,
Bones has to be
straightened out.

The boy’s growing up
wild and free,
and everyone knows
that’s no good.

He gives Bones a whipping
that would have killed
a normal child.

Bones decides
it’s no longer
safe at home.

He takes off,
and leaves Mom
to her disciplinarian.

Bobby

A dauntingly horrific experience, and you render it well. Bones has great inner-strength and wisdom, knowing when it's time for fight and when it's time for flight; that seems to be one of the keys to his survival.

Thanks dear Juju,

Yes, it was sad for Bones to leave Mom with that creep.  However, you have to do for your own self.

Thanks Mark,

Yes, Bones was always good with surviving.  He knows what's what, and he looks out for number one.

Thanks dear Passing shadows,

Yes, we all do have choices.  Bones probably made the right choice in this situation.

Thanks Eric,

Lots of times it's hard to come by a break.  Breaks are rare for most people.

Bones learned not expect them perhaps a little earlier than some.

Thanks dear RDB,

Don't be sad hon, and don't cry.

Like most members of the human family, Bones doesn't always get what he deserves.  There's loads of Bones out there.

Hard to read, cause so sad. Made me feel sadly mad.

The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools.

Thanks HelmutB,

For reading, and commenting.

Don't be sad.  Similar situations happen all the time.  You'll be happy to know that Bones turned out very well.
