Great white rapids rush past my fingertips;
Deep pools of clutter tangle thought.
Mists of flavor toy with my senses.
Eyes flicker, they’re burning out.
Pulses shock organs.
Music dampens our activity.
Into a slow, gentle sway.
Past a state of consciousness,
Through the barriers of reality

Indescribable, but your attempt is very poetic.

Hm, this is interesting mind travel.
Is it meditation, because of the excavation in the title; or the state a person would be during attempts to be returned to life?
I like it!
