Tell me who owns the morning
when this full moon is building,
Trapper's Moon,
Moon of Starving Horses,
Moon of Frozen Dreams,
Moon When Trees Die,
Moon That Hears No Supplication
not yet the Moon of Suffering,
that is still to come
though seeds that need a freeze are planted
sleeping with my hopes
for a Spring of kindness,
perhaps to bring forth flowers
that might sooth a bleeding soul.

A lyric of purest beauty; my comment would ruin the moment.

Love your poetry, dear Box of Ice!
