It is easy
for me to love you,
from halfway across
ten thousand lakes.

You can't protest
a love
if we both pretend
it does not exist.

Can't tell me
you're unimpressed
with how I remember
the way your hair
falls just so,
when you drink from public fountains.

Five thousand lakes
can protect me
from what you might say.
Can protect me
from a puzzled look
on an uninterested face.

Yo Paul,

You treat that girl right, and she'll treat you right.

Sometimes it's just that easy.

Some people fall in love and touch the sky, some people fall in love and find quicksand.

Very captivating, many great lines.

Instead of swimming you might decide to fly ... at lightspeed!
