God, help me see the better.
Silence my tongue of its raves and rants.
Remind me ever so quietly
happiness isn't circumstance.

God, help me see the best in people,
to realize everyone has their flaws,
and allow me partial blindness when
it comes to fine print in the clause.

God, help me see, in each situation,
that things could always be worse,
and that I have it better than some,
that living is not a curse.

God, help me see to love this man.
Put him deeper in my heart each night.
I need to find my inner peace
and I'm asking You for some light.

God, help me see.

Dixie, keep your eyes and heart open and you WILL be able to see God's Light. On reading this prayerful plea to God for a second time, I do believe that you are beginning to see a glimmer of that Light. When we have gratitude in our hearts for what we do have, more good things ~ and more Light ~ comes our way!

Love & God's Light,
Linda

You'll be right Dixie, we all have to work at life, love is our dream, reality is much different, smile each day and it will warm you and grow to happiness, just believe ok.

I think most of us need to pray those first 3 verses... and both look and listen for guidance rather than plowing ahead with what we think is best. *S*

I love the sincerity and humility of this beautiful plea. *S*
