Listening to every heart

BEAMING

Sunny ways to shine
sweet beams lifting laughter fine
tweak the smile in me

~*~

Funny ways are mine
sounds emanating heartstrings
hear the smile in me

~*~

As sincere entwines
eyes crinkling in Your divine
feel the smile of me

Side note:
First posted in July 2001, I saw this in the archives and all of the names of the poets that were around then...some are gone by way of wind, some by way of time; but oh, their smiles remain my smiles...

it was a very good thing.

Sunshine I am so glad you reposted this. I was there around that time, but, I think I must have missed this. I do feel the smile in you. And, always felt the smile in those who have gone on. Thank you for being there. It is always a pleasure to read your poetry.

Karilea, thank you for drying my tears and making me smile with your beautiful poem after reading Ida's beautiful, but oh, so sad poem (Life Goes On), that brought on Marge-sobs.
