Bones is going to break into
Your palatial mansion,
and steal all your stuff,
and you’ll be bereft with out it.

You’ll sadly miss,
and mourn,
all those expensive things
that you don’t really
need or use.

Think of it
as a charitable contribution,
helping those
that help themselves.

Oh, I know,
you’ll feel
horribly violated.

Bones knows
Just how that feels.

Bobby

Bobby - tell Bones he doesn't have to come over and steal everything. I'll share with him what he needs...

Thanks Bill,

Bones thanks you for your generosity.  He'll be right over.  Bones says you're a sport.

This one brought a smile to my face as it tells such a vivid truth and there's a lesson for all of us to learn from this.

Hey Bones! I'll give you all of my stuff no problem.

I think I could go through this life like one of those old guys that used to ride the rods on the trains and sing by a campfire at night.
Like some of the Woodie Guthrie songs portrayed.

After all that's true freedom. We all arrived into this life naked and with nothing.

Good one Bobby!

Tough stuff, dear Bobby. But then, as long as there exist such enormous social unjustices, as long as on one side there will be the superfluous and on the other the lack of the essential, it's what we must expect.
Possessions create problems, we should all learn to live with the essential and that would allow everybody to live better.
Thought provoking and a mirror of reality.

Love,
Margherita

Thanks Eric,

Bones does the best he can for Bones, and he does it to survive.  It's simple really.  Thanks for the kind words on this poem.

Thanks dear Margherita,

You have identified why Bones steals.  It's a matter of staying alive.

That is too bad. I sure he doesn't do it cause he can.

Thanks dear Juju,

No, he doesn't do it because he can, he does it to eat, and generally stay alive.

If you sat down and talked with Bones as a friend, you would quickly find out that he doesn't like to do any of the things he's noted for.

Hi Bobby, I think sometimes that there is no more violent feeling that to have one's door broken and somepeople intruding in your house...This is a kind of rape and you don't feel safe in your house...It is awfully torturing...Thank you for the thoughtful poem...

Thanks Yann,

Many burgulars live in my neighborhood.

They don't bother the local residents, because they know we don't have anything worth taking.

It is, and always will remain, a poor hood.

Hello Bobby; the wayfaring son returns home, and he's glad to find you here with Bones, doing only what he knows how to do. I have missed these episodes of selected lives that reveal so much about our common humanity. I hope to stick around for a while, sit a spell, and catch up on things.

Best wishes,.

I'm afraid 'Bones' would find a 'great big empty' here ...
the boys on Wall street and in the banking and oil industries
[and G.W. Bush(wacker's) alleged 'government']; etc. beat him to it!

good 'write'!

Thanks James,

I agree.

Although, I must admit, Bones will take a nip of booze every once in a while.  Just a nip though.

Thanks Secondhanddreampoet,

Bones and I send greetings.

I know what you mean.  Keep your head above water, better times are coming.
