Make Believe

I still love the way
Snow melts on my face
These long walks

I wonder if this
Will be the last snow
Before I leave here

Tears freeze on my cheek
Painful, itchy tears
which make eyes redden

I want to scratch them
Make them disappear

And mostly forget
That I still love you
After all these years...

such an aching longing to such a lovely write...still, I find myself sighing a very heavy sigh...

...very nicely done

Yo dear Juju,

It's nice to see something posted that not entirely about death and dying.

Don't worry, you'll be around for awhile.

I bow.
Silent in a moment of deja-vu.
Have not we all lived such a moment,
So finely given form in you ?

Great.

I enjoyed this very much. There's a personal story I can definitely relate to this.

Though the pain of the heart brings many tears
They shall be cleansed in time
This pain that has endured for years
Shall be excised in rhyme

Never sigh for a better world, it's already composed, played and told.
