White as snow,
but curious as a
black cat,
loving and caring
to give than to receive.
His eyes brown as
milk chocolate,
his mind calm and delighted
as the midnight blues.
He loved the cartoon's
as I do today.
IT was a sunny day
in November calm
and noisy,
then past noon
clouds darken,
the sun vanish.
I shivered before
the wind picked up...
my older sister cried,
I fell in silence. November 1,2001

Each line was short, but succinct ~ and had emotional impact.
You vividly bring your grandfather to life for your readers. He must have been a grand man. I could feel the pain of your loss. You must have loved him very much.

Yo Ken206573,

This is nice work on Grandfathers.  My grandfather was the only father I ever knew.  He was the greatest, and a very kind man.
