Let Me

Please let me hold you?
Let me sooth your growing pain
Everything you are to me
Is cleansed by the falling of the rain,

Let us think before we speak
Don't let sorrow shade your heart
Let the words be soft and gentle
Don't let anger drive us apart,

It only takes a moment
A fraction of precious time
To let me know that you love me
And know that you are mine,

Never leave words unspoken
Never hold an angry word
Negativity will destroy you
We need love in our world,

As I hold out my hand
And offer you my soul
Please carry it softly with you
Until the day we both grow old.

Annie.

Yo dear Annie,

Okay hon, you talked me into it.

This poem has some fairly good end rhymes.

Love Bobby
