               When it set tonight
               it almost was not there

               only the thinnest
               of edges remained
               as if it were
               trying to disappear

               dressed in black
as black as it could be
               nearly lost
               in the evening sky

with but a thin rim of light
~ just enough for one to see

                              Goodbye, Marge

Awww, Krawww, Marge the Moon Goddess slipping out of sight this night. But she will rise again and fill the night sky with Light!

Thank you for this gift to Marge and to your readers.

I hope you have been well.

Love & Moon Light,
Linda

Krawdad, all of the tributes for Marge seem to bring out something very special, as this did.  Thank you for penning it and sharing it.

Kraw, what a gentle, tender farewell to our moon lady Marge.
Good to read you here, you've been missed.

I don't think any of us can look at the moon without thinking of her... Thank you for this tender farewell.

Oh Krawdad, with few words so much is said.
Such a beautiful farewell to our most precious friend.

Like scattered leaves...my words will flow
