Hello everyone, I'd like to greet you all warmly. This is my first time posting in open, I'm usually a dark poet, so here goes.

The moon plays a silent melody upon her luminescent skin
Glistening softly beneath the silver falls
Water flows in crystal rivulets down the smooth curve of her back
And shines wetly in her flowing locks

She steps nimbly down into the tranquil rock pool
With pristine river pearl in hand
Her slight form only accentuates her naked breathless beauty
As she lifts her voice in siren song

All creation gathers to her soaring melody
Both hunter and quarry sit at peace
Her voice is the swirling cadence of the endless river
The cycle which enfolds all life

Where have you come from o gentle goddess?
Should not you be atop a marble spire?
Dreaming in seraphic bliss amidst starlight?
Far from a weeping world?

Her almond eyes widen in surprise at my question
As her perfect lips begin to frame words
As the whispering leaves speak the name of the river goddess
She replies

'Why, the true heaven is here on earth'

Dedicated to Shannon, my beloved.

Yo Suncleaver,

There you go.  I like it.  "Suncleaver would a wooing go."

This poem has some life to it.

Thank you all very much.

I've been participating in the Dark Poetry section of this site for a short while now but lately have felt the urge to pen more romantic musings.

Smiles, hugs and love from Luke.
