shhhhh, leave the moment in quiet,  quixote
while the maiden is cinderellaing there
where the lady trees are her gypsies spending
their finger limbs in strum of her laughter

dare I rattle my keys and wake my demons
will they startle the robin that contemplates
as the lady sways to summer samba songs
dancing bare foot in her high heel jaunty

and dare I capture her gaze in my fragile vase
pretending to be but a moment under palms
while she wears the saliva of a jealous god
on her bosom valley's hierarchy

shhhh, leave the moment in quiet, quixote
drop your metal shield on the clattering windows
and spur wildly the stallions of your mind
quietly be the thunder at her peaceful places

lest she never knows your poems as gentle arrows

seems to be the mouth of dawn
perhaps just a smile be the dove sounds
