It was the
western breeze,
of kismet,

that escorted
the first inkling,
of your bouquet,

to me.

The spice of dusk,
and open pods,
a richness,
an ornate elixir,

a florid coyness
of nocturnal,
tulips.

You,
the frolicsome,
of aureate locks,
my shell,
a rose,
the incsense
of breathlessness,
muffled,
and savored,

the ravishly,
devoured.

Word,
by sensuous word,

kiss,
by untamed kiss,

dance,

by cherished dance,

the songs,
and the
stolen moments,

of together,

swallow time.

As the closer
we get,
the farther,

we become.

Connected,
by sky
and wish,

and air,

and,
apart.

An expanse
of life,
and night,

of smiles,
and embrace,

of hands

and complete.

Find me
beneath
the quicksand

of miracle,

where distance
doesn’t block,
your pulse

from my lips.

And the love,
of two people
is conquered not

by the single drop
of,

only ifs.

Where there is
no you, or I,

only,

us.

Where I take,
my last breath,
and, it is you,

who exhales.

I like that very much
the last breath of man
the exhalation of woman
you knit your heartwood
together in a pattern
of pleasure and treasure

"Where I take,
my last breath,
and, it is you,

who exhales."

This ending is magic.  It describes perfectly the phrase, "these two shall be one" perfectly.

Your play with words, plays with my sensual senses.

You are a man who undoubtedly knows about love ~ and loving.

It is... beautiful!!! I love the entire poem, but particularly this passage... and the ending is pure perfection!
