Richy, I just now read in Announcements that Marge has "Gone Home". I thought she still had one or two weeks left, but like everyone else, I was still praying for a miracle so I didn't add to the title of this poem that it was for Marge ~ which I have just now done. I saw this yesterday and was still hoping for a miracle, hoping you wouldn't need the dedication. Our hearts are so heavy today... but this kind of love... helps. You truly are an angel, Earthy One. |

Linda, First, thank you for the permission. I did not even realize that this was written for Marge until I saw it later. It is even more special now. One of the hardest things is comforting the bereaved at the loss of a loved one--this will help. Thank you. |

Naked One ~ Maureen, you were fortunate to have been friends with Marge for ten years ~ and to have been a member of this Family of Friends for that long as well. In some ways, I still feel like a Newbie ~ and I have been here for 6 1/2 years. Your words, dear Linda, bring such deep comfort. I have no doubt, that what you say so beautifully is actually true. They do rejoice up there and I really visualize dear Marge's beautiful smile as her return is celebrated in joy. I also, like you, hoped she would live longer and I felt a cold shiver down the spine when reading the news of her transition. You know, one thing that I want to point out, is that dear Marge was able to come to Pip and write poetry and replies almost till the end. Isn't that also a reason to be grateful? Her last contributions were all very touching. I enjoyed now reading this whole thread and feeling the community of Pip in tender connection with each other and with dear Marge. Love and hugs.
