Dip deep the ladle, in the poets flowing river.
Let the words quench your thirst for rhyme,

Like a fine wine, Drink in the words, twirl them around your tongue,
Then let slip down the throat,
Knowing they will make you dizzy with their meanings.

Inhale of the bouquet and cherish the thrill,
As you devour the dreams of the poet.

The answer is always NO, Until the question is asked.

This poem certainly quenches that thirst, WT.

Thanks, Ida,  Sometimes when I write something, I will go back and read it over and over, and realize it needs some work to make it right.  I think this reads better than my first post.
Thanks for re-reading, and letting me quench your thirst.

WT.
