Are your eyes on fire,
Or is it fire in your eyes?

The truths of your wrath,
Or is your wrath from truths?

Are you the guilty one,
Or is she guilty of duplicity?

Were you there in the dark,
Or the dark simply in you?

Was the deed really wrong,
Or did a wrong cause the deed?

Questions never truly answered,
Left answers without question.

GothicCherry - many unanswered questions that seem a need to be answered...

What's the crime? Or is it a sin?

I love thought provocative poetry...

so thank you. Much enjoyed.

How do those last two lines work?

Interesting writing.

Well, it means to me that all of the above questions and many others like them are the answers to themselves because the question and the answer are intertwined. It's confusing, but it's how I saw them.

Thanks to you all for commenting.

Love your philosophical ponderings here.

Who's to blame? Ourselves, always in a certain way to a certain extent.

Love,
Margherita
