Over the decadent fields
of the wildflowers,
strangled,
where the knotted nests
dried postpartum
of season

where the mulitudes sowed
deep in the trenches

to herald the morning
the colorguard rises

of a nation of glory
on a once seedless
harvest

to proclaim
its Messiah.

Messiah is not one of us.  Messiah, sometimes refered to as the Anointed One, holds a theology alein to our culture and hostile to our nation, but our nation and its institutions will survive.

Incredible poetic deed, dear Michele.

You have chosen the right word, as indeed the new President is seen in this role, as a liberator from people unfriendly political strategies.

Love,
Margherita

Yo dear Inkedgoddess,

These are good words.

I don't know that "Messiah" is what my man Barack had in mind, but it's cool.

Love Bobby

great expectations on the man in charge,in these very turbulent times we live in, many ribbons of hope hanging on Mr. Obama. We all need to support him
