Getting dizzy with frustration
My head’s spinning with aggravation
Rush through the day, rushing away

Gathering heat from the urgency
Confusion like a panicked emergency
Hurrying through life, hurrying with strife

Recollecting thoughts and sense
Why speed until our deaths commence
Slow down the pace, enjoy this place

The meter needs some tightening but the rhymes are solid and the message excellent Carpe Diem! Mark

GothicCherry - I liked this indeed. If we rush thru life, forget about smelling any roses. Crafted well. Namyh
