Purple Skies

If may I never love again,
The stroll under a freckled night,
While air tickles my body...
Numb...

What a foolish thing I will be,
To hide from a beautiful life;
Still present.

Juju - don't hide, life is way too short to do so. Look with eyes that can see the beauty of it all.

Yo Juju,

I remember my first purple skies.  That was back in the fifties, when I was taken to Los Angeles.  It was amazing.

Keep on trucking Hon, I did.

Walks are good.

This is a fine piece of work. It doesn't hand you what you want to know, it makes you read it a few times.

Well worth it.

to each...their own, purple skies, purple haze, purple passion or purple flesh. each has a special meaning that is but a memory and like love and life...will last for only a moment...enjoy the moment!

i love the "freckled sky".  A beautiful write...sometimes when we are alone or lonely it feels like it will never pass.  For you I wish only peace, romance and love beyond your wildest dreams (and of course great poetry).  Be well...kat.
