How is it you are
what I never knew,

I always wanted,

and,
needed?

The compass
I never had,

and the coat,
I never wore,

the song
that never played

and the love
for you,

I swore.

The tongue
of your words
swallow me
whole heartedly

and without,
compunction.

as your eyes chafe,
on pelvic grind,
and onto the pull
of solidity,
and groin.

Taste the wisdom
of my wrinkled brow
as I feast upon
the velvety trembles
of your nape,

feeling the yet
unspoken words
from my lips
mouthed against
your skin
soft,

and sodden.

Drink in
the silent histories
of my eyes,

upon yours,
as the savor
of my saturated smile
makes anew,
your whole,

and being.

Take my ink
into your
brimming well,
as I mark you
with my,
indelible signature,

mixing our mediums
that bring life to thought,
and breaths,
to prurience.

My hand on yours
tight, as we pen
possibility,

and lovethought,

while I adorn
your inklings
with blush,
and the enrichment,

of virgin,
and goddesses.

Allow me to change
the color of your skin
to warmer,
more succulent hues,

as I transform
your scent to a fragrance
of rut,
and lechery,

as it commingles with
exudation wet,

and angelic.

Help me cleanse
the stains from my heart
with betrothment,
and avail,

in the softness of thighs,
a smirk,
milky in eagerness,

parted in the sky

amid the plundering,
of rose buds,
restless,

hidden by saturation,
and leaves,
serenity.

It is the sum of a part,
the recoiled serpent,

that plows swaths across
silhouette,
carving a niche
of hubris and want
between folds, sopping,
with joy clinched,

and silken,
still yet.

Let me extend your fullness
with unabridged range,
and panorama,

as we wave off restraint
and suckle mercilessly,
on taboo.

The jaundice of dusk,
peering at us,

with bloodshot eyes
that sense our thoughts,
true.

As the wind moaned din,
with the pathetic hopes,
of love,

and sin,

amid the eternal fondling,
of poets,

of dream,

and you.

That was a true lesson of passion, dear Richy, insofar I had to check quite a number of words ... and I now can transform the hues of the "jaundice of dusk" into "dark purple". Wheeww!

This is the right poem for all those who are suffering from the extreme cold over there!

Exuberant! And very creatively sensuous.

Love,
Margherita

ps wanted to add: why do you call hope for love "pathetic" ... it's quite simply what keeps us going, I think!

"Love is the One who masters all things;
I am mastered totally by Love."

Thanks so much sweet dear, thanks for always taking the time to say such nice things, I really do so appreciate it!

Oh, and pathetic, has several meanings, not just the one most people associate it with.

Gotta run to the store now and grab some beef and brew for the football playoffs... dang poetry, it's always getting in the way of things  lol

Yes, you are right, dear Richy.  If I give the word the meaning of "moving" and almost "painful", associated with the emotions of "pathos", then I find it perfectly placed.

Enjoy your Sunday!

Love,

I do believe that the blending of yours and the inkedgoddess's inks, would turn our blue pages into a sensuous rose pink.

A collaboration between you two fine poets would surely rate high on the Sigh Metre!!!

Each line of this one did!!!

Love 'n hugs,
Linda

My dear Linda Lou, sweet Michelle is a genuine bona fide poetess, and I’m just an amateur pushing some words around. Her beautiful words already rate off the top of the moan scale, I would only muck up what is perfection personified.

Thank you though, I take that suggestion as the highest of compliments!

Richy - I read, I felt, and I'm amazed at the way you put words together. Very nicely done...
