At the stage of my life
When I should be content
With lap robe and rocking chair,
I found myself in a world of words
And new friends waiting there.

Marge, one of the first
To welcome me
As I approached the door,
Guided me through mysterious maize
Of lyric and metaphor.

She took my timidity
Turned it around
And gave it dramatic flair.
The more she gave, the more she had
Of friendship and love to share.

When I was wending my way
Through grief
Too much for one self to bear,
I reached out in pain and found the heart
Of my good friend waiting there.

With prayer and unending love we come
To our beautiful Marge in need
And offer the fruits
Of the harvest sown
With her precious, unselfish seed.

Offered in love and prayer, Joyce

Dear Joyce, you wrote so lovingly of our Dear Marge.

She was there for me as well, when I joined pip and thoughout the years, has continued to do so. Whenever I have met with any difficulties, she has helped me through them.

Occasionally she will drop me an email if she notes any typos etc. in a poem of mine because, as she would say, she didn't want anything to detract from it. lol She is such a sweetie pie.

I have always seen Marge as spunky little mother hen. ~ Caring, teaching, protecting her fellow "Circle of Friends".

The number of prayer circles that she has formed, is beyond measure. God bless her, as we now form yet another one for her. The Light from the multitude of all those who love her, rivals that of the sun.

She is a real trooper who rallies and marches into all her life battles with a brave heart. I affectionately call her Trooper Tindal.

Love to both you and our Margie Girl,
Linda
Marge, I love you.

and for me....Marge was my very first online poet friend from a wonderful site called Lovingyou.com. over 10 years ago.  Just by chance when I was invited to come and participate at piptalk, she was also here and what a pleasant surprise it was.

A warm and beautiful poem~~ for a beautiful and warm Lady.

Joyce, I sit here with tears in my eyes, thinking of our Dear Marge. She was one of the very first to welcome me here at Pip. She gave me encouragement, when I had none. She helped me through some trying times, when there was no one else. She will always have a special place right inside my heart. And, I will always remember her encouraging words.

Thank you, dear Joyce, this is a poignant and beautiful poem of gratitude to our dear Marge. I also know her in the way you describe her. A very sensitive, giving heart, full of beauty and an exquisitely gifted Poet.

She is certainly sustained by all the love she receives in these challenging times.

Love and hugs.

That was simply lovely Joyce and I am sure with that passage you speak for us all.  She has probably opened the doors here with wide open arms for almost every member I am sure.

Joyce,

As demonstrated here in your poem, Marge certainly planted her precious seed into a mighty rich soil that has bloomed into a beautiful, beautiful talent. Your poem is an outstanding tribute to a wonderful, nurturing soul. Thank you and God bless you,

-Bob
