I will walk this path to the end, which is also the beginning, for the path is a circle. And when I am renewed the old will fall away to be hidden from view, concealed behind a curtain of questions. Though few may see beyond the veil, for some, moments will come when a tiny spark will light the darkened memory with a fleeting vision of what once was. Ida Werrett |

Ida, I love your poem and understand exactly what you are saying, in every sense of the word, "understand" and think the same way about myself, but I just want to add that "what is" in you, I am sure is even more than "what was", although I didn't know you during the "what was". The "what is" is so mature and warm and wise, and in spite of what I said about not knowing you during the "what was", I must say that you have warmed towards us all so beautifully in the time you have been here. Smiles. I certainly feel that "what is" in me is better than "what was", although probably nobody else who knows me does! So, yes, what you said. Smiles. Owl |
