I look at these shadows I'm living with now
some of them away, some of them are not, some alive
forget the reason I don't know how
People you can barely call humans, for they have lost that something inside
but they still manage to walk and talk as if everything is alright
but if you look deep enough they've lost their life
they say HI, they say Bye
they laugh and theu cry
they own these shallow hearts that keeps on beating life away
they forgat about what counts, and how to live the day
they breath every moment closer to their death
they talk only about life but the truth has already been said
some shadows still remain deep in my thoughts
for people who lived and knew the real cause
they knew how to turn you upside down
they knew how to bring life to what have drowned
they did say Hi and Bye
as well as they did laugh and cry
but unlike others none of them didn't know why
so their loss is ,a loss and life is such a big lie
Although it's weird and sounds untrue
although I'm lost in most of the times, sometimes I really know what to do
But even if I did I'm still caught up in the middle
and I keep on going down to fall in the same trap
in every day I wake up my life seems to get further even more
everything seems so hard and so different and I don't recognise anything anymore

Now, though it's so not often, but sometimes it does actually happens
I see a bit of hope in the faces of people I know and love
And it's true that I can say they give such a hard time
but for them I change my mind in this darkened night
cuz, somehow I don't know how they give me a lil bit of light
to never become one of those living dead shadows
to always try to make it through my worst fears and sorrows
.......

Sarah, on reading this deep poem, it is apparent to me that you most definitely are not one of those shallow, shadowed people.

My favourite line in your thought-provoking poem is the following ~

"I see a bit of hope in the faces of people I know and love"

Giving you a warm hug,
Earth Angel
