            Janus Eve

In the footsteps of a
pallid, bitter sunset,
Winter’s tentative twilight
seeks brief council with the
   vagabond wind…
(to query the true nature
    of things)
for there is nowhere
it has never been.

Love the personification in this, dear Bruce. Very beautiful in your usual melancholic ways.

Love,

The wind must have plenty to say these days Bruce. Fine poem as usual.

Bruce,

I think you have been looking at my sun in January.  It's so much more full of life already and is gearing up for full beauty in March.  This is a beautiful poem.

Another jewel of crystalline clarity; I love the council of winter and wind!

Yo Secondhanddreampoet,

This makes for a good poem.

However, winds are fairly short lived, and they don't really get around much, in the grand earthly scheme of things.
