It is snowing,
wishful brittle flakes
shattering on impact,
much as whispered dreams,
fragile drift imaginings
spun from sugared memories,
shattering on touch,
reality overwhelming
realization.

This has excellent flow. Very impressed!
I like the short poems they can be very strait to the point without loosing anything

Good morning, dear Box of Ice.

The lyrics "Let it snow. Let it snow. Let it snow." just came to mind.

..."whispered dreams,
fragile drift imaginings
spun from sugared memories,"

Gosh, yer good!

Sending an extra warm hug from the frozen north,
EA

Gosh, it's good to read you, Mr. C. and I really like this.  Reality bits!  But....then again, what is really reality?!  *hugs*.....jo

most of the good adjectives have probably already been used for this...it is just so good, but I loved the word flow in this:

"wishful brittle flakes" ...almost needs a new word for it--wishrittlakes--put that in your spell checker and clog it...
