Rip Van Winkle today
Still doesn't know
Just what to say.
Might as well be sleeping
Among the flowers,
Hasn't checked for email
In seventy-two hours!

Sleeping amoung the flowers sounds extra peaceful all the same.
Don't even have to take your shoes off before you come inside......(smile)

Nice write! I enjoyed it.

Thanks, Eric & Sunshine, for giving me your reactions. Glad you liked it.

Unfortunately, my offline times are spent mostly commuting and working instead of snoozing amid the blossoms.

well...if not checking your email for 72 hours is the modern equivalent of sleeping for 40 years, then call me Mr. Winkle, or is it Mr. Van Winkle?   I've been asleep far too long to know.  Nice write.

Love this much! Among the flowers in silence inspiration flows abundantly and he will know what to say in the end.
Love,

Stevenr, r v wooo, & Margherita, thank you for your thoughts. It's nice to know that amid the "I IM, therefore I am" e-world, there are still people who are willing to take time to read, consider, and write.
