they were just highway saturdays
with windows in their sky
and sounds of wind talking
not with words but with mind sounds

I saw your reflection there
in the glass that watches dawns
you were proper with your gloves
that waved just as hi type of hello

but I wondered of your fingers
would they draw pictures in the sand
or would they hold coffee cup moments
that you sipped with lipstick lips

and autographed momentarily with lovely

ONCE upon a marriage, we would ride that  Goldwing, and a Harley all over.  I would blow kisses for him to catch in his mirror.  See, out of everything bad something good can be found, and your poem reminded me of that.

Oh, a new series! And I love it, this seems obvious!

quote:
and sounds of wind talking
not with words but with mind sounds

Every line holds beauty, the special kind of beauty that is your poetic mind.

Love,
Margherita

Huummmm, very nice.

Images drawn out of some word pictures that are uniquely different. I guess that's the point isn't it?

Love that ending just caps it off right.

Sometimes, I am glad that I have missed some of your poems.  I get to discover them later - and it is like finding a gift tucked away that was never opened.

Thank you, my friend, for the gifts.

I'm so glad Alison bumped this back up... I don't know how I'd missed it but it was certainly my loss... Beautiful work!

An enjoyable read. I like the way the poem is filled with the air of freedom it describes. Very well done!
