Pieces of heaven
Fall like golden confetti
Where’s my catcher’s mitt?

Yep, this is a haiku indeed, and well-crafted too. The first two lines set the topic, the third one a response or predicate. Nicely done. Mark

Yo Tfaye,

Well, you're close.  However, what you've written is more of a Senryu, which is based more on human interactions.

Haiku involves only the natural world with no human intervention.
