     Epiphanies lost

who whim-chases colors
on a dead-Winter night

who connects the stars
in the boundless void

who time-seasons
  memories
with the future-past

who tickles the Universe
from a blade of grass

the poet … the dreamer …
  the fool

Yo Secondhanddreampoet,

Did you forget January 6 again?  What would the three wise men say?

This is a good poem.

Dear Poet and Universalist, you always open the window to the greater vaster scenery above and around us.

Very beautiful!

Bruce, this is exquisite!  One of your very best.  It is only my opinion, so please don't be offended, but "fool" at the end spoiled it for me.  Firstly, I think you are speaking of yourself - and you are as far away from being a fool as anyone could possibly be; secondly, and I am probably prejudiced as I am sure all the other poets here are, but I believe that anyone doing all those things you mention in your poem is wiser and richer and deeper than most of the rest of the world; and anyone who could put those beautiful values into words in a poem, is even wiser and richer and deeper than those who simply do those things and an artist par excellence!.  I am going to imagine that "fool" isn't there, but I wouldn't dream of imagining anything else in its place, because this apprentice doesn't mess with works of a master (not even in my mind).
