Daemon Of Thoughts, Archangel Of Plea

It’s just so damn cold
And it bites me like crazy
All the truth’s on hold
All of the lies proudly told

Like a ghastly figure
You passed by me
Lingering in intense loathing and pseudo romance
Yet secretly wishing for just one glance.

Do you deserve this?
Do I deserve this?
Do we deserve this?

That's all I can deduce from it.

Each and every time,
Reminds you of what happened
Each and every time,
Reminds me of what I did.

And it's killing me
This obnoxious silence between us
Taking us farther apart from where we were
But I’ll take it in
I deserve nothing less
This is where we are now;
Nothing but a forgotten beautiful mess.

All the tears left unshed,
All the words left unsaid,
All the hurt you kept for so long,
Go ahead, I'll take it in
Every single bit of it.
But then again please do forgive me.
I've learned quite a lot, a whole lot really.

I know you need the distance.
I guess I need it too.
For now, I’ll say goodbye;
To your sweet smile
To your tender touch
To your endless symphonies
To our beautiful days
To our arcane nights
To you my daemon and angel
For now, I’ll bid you farewell.

Things do change
But never our past will
Return to me when you must
I’ll hold on to this,
Even if this is just a mere illusion of you and me.

Never say never.

I saw that you had no posts for this topic so I decided to read it. I loved it. I like how you expressed the holding back of feelings and needing some time apart. Good write, I related to most of it.

Nice work. You captured the emotions of loving blues as the blues can be sometimes.
