You caught me on my darkest day
I made a deal with the devil
He said he'd give me God
If I gave him my soul
Well now I have no God
And I have no soul
But the letters sealed
I signed my name in blood
I'm left here
Empty and alone
I have nothing
Not even the promise of tomorrow

I made a deal with the devil
He said he'd give me God
If I have him my soul

But you're not as beautiful
As you were on my darkest day

Nice twist at the end Emily.

The phrasing of this piece captured my attention right away.

Good write!

Eric
