40 years of tunneling
into this granite life
Chisel is dull and sore
Carve out one more heart
Smooth and perfect
Tunnel without end
One small stick of dynamite
can end the suffering
Blow away all the imperfections
you seem to write away
Bless me Father for I was born
Into tragedy and without sin
Why is it so hard to find
one piece of happiness
One tiny fraction of joy
An ingot of love
A fable I've written
to ease the pain
of my reality

A wonderfully written lament, bravo

Peace of  mind can only be achieved when we find peace with self

Very well written melancholy reflection on life.
I enjoyed the read and the emotion.
