Moonbeams dance within his eyes
as we lay
silently entwined

gazing up at the luminescent night sky

Each star…
a dream
a hope
a wish

The fragments of
Our ancients’ past
Lighting our current path

Embracing our
souls
and lightening our load

Each sparkle a smile
And wink
A soft chuckle

Bobby-
Gracias good sir. I'm just stretching my writing chops. I'm glad I've finally found my muse. It should come in handy next semester for my poetry writing class.

I love your choices of 'lighting' and 'lightening' in their contexts...a very nice, enjoyable write...really liked your progressive description of the stars...nice
