For My Sweetheart

What if this life
was about feelings?
Feelings living
within my heart,
feelings growing
for my sweetheart.

All of my life
I yearned to meet
a woman as
sexy and sweet
as my sweetheart.

Now feelings of her
grow in my heart.
Feelings of love
growing in mine
and her hearts.

Nearer and nearer
clearer and clearer
we share the
precious feelings
that live and grow
in the hearts
of sweethearts.

"What if this life
was about feelings?"

It is...
isn't it.
