Some people poke fun at Bones,
because his old mans locked up,
and his old lady sometimes
goes off the deep end.

Mom tells Bones
to just ignore them,
people like that are
just plain ignoramuses.

Bones tries to ignore them,
but he adds them to his list anyway.

I think people should beware of those they poke fun at....It's a long old road doesn't have a turn in it.

The list won't disappear.

Thanks Eric,

What you say is very true.

Such lists never disappear.  They are sometimes handed down from generation to generation.

My Mom used to say the same thing to me!

I haven't seen or heard that word for quite some time.

May all our lists of ignoramuses decline with time!

May the New Year be a happy one!

Thanks dear Linda,

It's a good old word, that sometimes helps quite a bit.

The New Year is always a good one, for someone (ME! ME! ME!).

I wish everyone I care about (the list is enormous, about 6.7 billion people and counting) a Happy New Year.

Love Bobby

Bobby - I find your thoughts are very wise when writing about Bones feelings. From reading your writings I can say I almost know him, but not yet...

Thanks Steavenr,

Bones is making a list, checking it twice, gonna find out who's naughty and nice.

Thanks for the kind words on the poem.

There's lots of scary stuff in Bones world.

I enjoyed your poem, Bobby, and all the responses, especially Yann's - though I would like to say that not everyone can be clever, but everyone (yes, everyone, even the supposedly hard, cold, defensive ones of all ages) can be kind - and if one is kind, somehow, being clever seems less important - to me, anyway.

Thanks dear OwlSA,

There's nothing wrong with being clever and kind.  Such people are a possibility.

Bobby,

This is good.  I want to be on Bone's good list ... could he check it twice and see if I am there.
