How Can You Not Love A Poet

poet,
to me your words
are like air under birds wings
effortless motion within your flight
with grace you adorn the wind
in simple flawlessness stirring free
tenderly my heart glides on feathers
as I watch you soar it moves me
taking me from ground to clouds
a whisper in pink conversation
exposing the sky with melody
on this journey I travel with you
in a signature dance of breath

"The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall."
— Nelson Mandela
