I am a botanist,
Black roses are your eyes:
Inside my heart a cyst
Used to induce such sighs;
But now the ousted biles
Have been replaced with smiles.

I am an alchemist,
Your fingers are the stone:
My ribcage was a cist
Where pain remained a drone;
I fell in love with you
And now I breathe anew.

You are the Holy Grail,
That holds the cherished blood:
And when my heart was frail
Your smile removed the crud;
And bliss is my equerry
Since you agreed to marry.

Dear Yang, thy Yin's own heart wouldst surely smile upon reading this poem of love and appreciation!

Blessings of love and joy for you both in the coming new year ~ and for many a blessed wedded year to follow!
