I would always enjoy your windows more
I guess it is their kind of reflection
that is better than your mirrors
when you are standing behind
the beside myself of me

and the sun has to be just right
or the light of the nights too
for you to be part of their reflection
not taken for granted but accidental
when I look just the right way

trying to find you there looking back
and then you are for long moments
but never permanently attached
like the edges of dreams sometimes
and how one can fall into them quickly

if they close their eyes and really want to

Very interesting poem,
To look at ones self in the mirror is a very daunting process as you never see yourself as others see you

Very well written

D,

This is why no one should ever have curtains to close out the night.  Never know who you might miss touching.

You touched me with this poem.  It's wonderful.

This reminds me of the glimpses we catch of our younger self, or of the self that we wish we could be all the time.  Perhaps it is simply a ghost...the ghost of a Stranger we can see if we look long and hard enough...
