Describing the sunrise as Midas Touch on the cold horison was an excellent poet's touch.  Thank you, too, Allison for your very kind replies and words of encouragement on my mom's poems.  It was emphatic salve, and I thank you again,
Jeff

Ali my dear this is gorgeous!
What is this solstice sunrise that you so eloquently speak of though. I suppose I could, "google" it, but it would be more interesting to hear it from you, if you get a chance to that is.

And you take all your own pictures too. Well aren't you talented, I just looooovvvvvve photography too. Good pictures and good words just go together so naturally don't they?

Awesome!

Rich,

Solstice sunrise was written about winter solstice, which is the shortest day of the year above the equator.  Anyway, we had about 3.5 hours of sun on that day and that was the noon sunrise.

Yes, I do take my own pictures.  I used to use others, but just take my own now.  Thank you for enjoying and taking the time to comment.

I do appreciate you lots.

Yo Bobby,
