Beautiful

*dedicated to he who has torn my life apart*

She still thinks she's beautiful,
Don't tell her that she's not.
Let her hang on awhile longer.
Maybe she can't cope with the way she feels inside -
Let her keep her illusions, let her hide.
Let her have her drugs and let her have her men,
Let her watch her life go slipping by.
Clinging to illusions created from pain and tears,
Let her block emotions to stop her fears.
Give her time to realize she isn't who she thinks,
Let her learn her world is a lie.
Be there to pick her up in shattered pieces off the ground -
Let her run her life, yet stick around.
Let her love.
Let her die.
She still thinks she's beautiful...
