Thats what I was told tonight.
But does that mean that I should give up
Should I stop trying to fight.

If everything we dream of
is impossible to achieve
What is the point of this life
Is it all just a tease!

Sure, some goals we make for ourselves
are a bit out of our range
But they help us, try even harder
and our outlook on life starts to change.

If a baby bird was to scared
to fly like all the rest
To journey into the great unknown
and leave its comfortable nest

Its life would become meaningless
He'd die lonely and depressed
All becuse of this limited dream
of not venturing out of the nest.

I suppose what I'm trying to say
is whats wrong with a little dreaming
Why not reach for the stars
and give your life some meaning.

You may eventually reach them
Then again you might not
But you'll see the beauty they possess
and that will be worth alot.

What ever goal you set for yourself
Tackle it with all you've got
Don't limit yourself to what you can reach
Dream of the impossible and you'll learn alot

Your right about dreams, my dear. Reality has a way of dashing your hopes but dreams will always remain.
