I've been thinkin bout you more often lately,
Been thinkin bout us and it's driven me crazy.
Something inside tells me I'm gonna lose you,
And although you might deny it, I think you know it too.
My feelings for you are very strong as you can see,
But for some reason, I dont think you feel the same for me.
I hope I'm wrong, but then again, maybe I'm right,
All I know is that I've been dreamin bout you these past few nights.
If you have any doubts about you and I together,
Then your answer to this poem, might as well be never.
I really really like you, and hope we are meant to be,
But wether or not thats true, I'll leave to destiny.
If you was my girl, You'd have nothing to fear,
I'd make it my number one priority that no harm comes near.
For if ever you are in need, If ever you are in fright,
I will be there for you, no matter how dark the night.
Depend on me to keep you warm hold you close and treat you right.
Girl, you are not the girl of my dreams I must admit,
But to be honest, you are the closest one to it.
So I'm taking big chance by asking you this question,
I just hope there aint nothing on my mind I forgot to mention.
Like a blue rose weeps white drops from the morning dew,
I'd hold back clear tears if I lost you.
With all my heart and gentalest Sencerity,
I'm asking you to share your heart with me.
Are you that special girl, sent from above,
To be my one and only Poetic Love?
I want to share with you my world,
So I'm asking you baby, Will YOU BE MY GIRL?

first of all i'd like to say that this is a awesome poem. you express your feelings very well, but one suggestion, and maybe it's not my place to say this but if your seriousley going to give this poem to this girl, maybe you should take out the part where it says your not my dream girl.you don't need to be that honest. otherwise, really sweet poem!

Thanx Swan, but I already gave it to her already. I read it to her over the phone, and she said she needs 2 weeks to give me the answer.

<~~What kinda answer is that to give..2 weeks ??

I guess your right alwye cuz 2 days after she rejected me a frien who has been with me through thick and thin asked me out. She said she was hoping that the other girl would say no cuz she felt we was meant to be. I said Yes.

Which proves no matter how dark the situation may seem, dont discourage, cuz when its ur time to love and be loved ull know it. Thanx every1 4 ur replies.

Hey Nuriphnos, even though her answer was no, you've captured my heart with you're words. That was one of the sweetest poems that I've ever read, and keep it up.

THAT WAS A GREAT POEM ONE DAY MY BOYFRIEND WROTE ME SOMETHING SIMILAR I SMILED TWO DAYS STRAIGHT .SHE WASNT THE GIRL IN YOUR DREAMS YOU KNEW IT AND SO DID SHE BUT ONE DAY YOU WILL FIND HER AND YOU WONT NEED A POEM FOR HER.
