Looking out across the orchard
Watching the sunset
Smelling the sweet scent of flowers
Thinking of how much things this year have changed

Remembering all the laughter
All the fun
All the sadness
Just all the great times we had together

You've been there for all the ups and downs
You gave me a little more self appreciation
Helped me realize what live really is
You've made me happy
I guess that's what you're here for

I just wanna say thanks
Especially for listening to me
For keeping all the secrets I shared with you
I just hope i was that good of a friend to you

I must say, I do like this poem!! Fits my sentiments for the last year of my life to the tee. Exellent work, heartfelt.
