Goodbye..for now

You say you are over it
And I say that too
We both know, but will not admit, the truth
You love me still, and I love you

You think after 6 times,
We'd get our act together
But something always happens
That keeps us from being 'together "forever."

We've had the best of times
You can always make me smile
We've also had some not great times
Where we haven't talked for a while

People say I could do better
And I know what they say is true
But I dont want anyone else
The person I want is YOU

Throughout the lies, and tears, and fights
I have never truly been mad at you
Yes I have been hurt, my heart has been broken
Not angry, no, just blue

I know it seems that its finally over
But I know its not, although I wish it could be
It not that I dont love you, because baby, I do,
But becuase it kills my heart when you are not with me

I know you won't admit the way that you feel
So maybe I have to say it, I cannot lie
I am going to try to move on, but you'll forver have my heart
And I can always take this back, but for now, it is goodbye.
