If I had MY way

I would like to get away,
And escape all of my problems.
To see the world from a different angle.
To breathe air from different lungs.
I would like to be the quiet one,
And listen to others talk.
I would like to change someones life.
And to walk a different walk.
I would like to be my true self,
And not only do what is best for me.
I would be sure not to judge people,
And make sure there heart is what I see.
I would always be kind,
And think before I speak.
I would express my anger better,
And try and help those who are weak.
I would never harm a soul,
Or cause pain to anyone.
I would have loving parents,
Who actually loved me as a son.
I would pursue my talents,
And find the perfect friend.
I would be successful,
And love my life until the end.
