I swore not to.
Not to throw myself in again.
Nothing could make me go back,
Back to that dark pit.

Then I met you.
You with your dark eyes,
That looked upon my torn body with Kindness.

One last time I tell myself.
One last time I'll jump.
So I throw myself once more.
Expecting pain.

With my teeth clenched,
My muscles tense,
I wait for the pain that does not come.
Falling, ever falling.......

I keep waiting for it to end,
With bitter tears,
or just being " friends",
Tears that do not come.

I took a leap of faith,
And I'm glad I did.
So this is what true love feels like.
Falling, ever falling.......

Toward a bottom I'll never reach.
Falling down and down
If I ever really fall,
I know, because you love me,

You'll be at the bottom to catch me.
